Zoloft Side Effects: Akathisia And Violent Behavior
Zoloft is an SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor); a prescription drug that combats depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), as well as other various problems. SSRIs work by allowing more serotonin to be released through the brain. Seratonin is a brain chemical associated with happiness. Between nerve endings in the brain, there are synapses. All signals in the brain are transmitted through chemicals being produced then absorbed by one nerve and another. When these chemicals are released they are either taken in by the next nerve or the nerve that released them will re-absorb them and the signal doesn't pass. Some antidepressants work by blocking the reuptake of Seratonin by the releasing nerve. That means that more Seratonin stays in the synapse in the hope that it will be absorbed by the new nerve which, in the case of Seratonin, would continue the signal of happiness.
Estate Planning – Protecting Your Will's Integrity
Over views modern day techniques (evidence) one can present to the courts that uphold the decisions the testator dictates in their written last will and testament.
In the not overly distant past, the writings of the testator were the only evidence of his or her intentions and mental capacity. Undue influence was harder to defend against when the only evidence was the testator's writings and the recollection of those around them. Imagine the scene, the packed court room (perhaps I have a flair for the dramatic), the testimony as to the deceased's mental health and the influence exercised over them by their final caretakers and close family members made the testator's mental health and the influence of others over them a matter of the testimony of the living and those often involved in contesting or defending the will.

Boomers - "rich" Targets For Estate Looters
"Gone to Texas" was a phrase used by Americans immigrating to Texas in the 19th century and is applicable again today as the Baby Boomers (Americans born 1946-1964) begin to retire and relocate, as in times past, to Texas. Georgetown, Texas, was just named a top retirement town by Where to Retire magazine and a recent report by the North Carolina Center for Creative Retirement lists Texas as the #2 state for retiree relocation surpassing Arizona and continuing to close the gap with Florida.
Can You Disinherit Your Children?
Attempts to disinherit children do not fare well.
The main object of the Family Provision Act 1982 ("the Act") and its successor, the Succession Amendment (Family Provision) Bill 2008 (amending the Succession Act 2006) ("the Bill") is to protect eligible persons in need from capricious, malicious or inadvertent will makers.
Is it is possible to disinherit your children?
Some will makers believe it is or should be.
The answer is that it is exceedingly difficult, in no small part due to the notional estate provisions which permit the Court to cLaw back transactions undertaken by a will maker which have the effect of defeating the operation of the Act (or Bill).
